How We Keep You Safe
Fire Extinguishers
The most basic and inexpensive forms of fire safety, a fire extinguisher is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or control small fires, often in emergency situations. Typically, a fire extinguisher consists of a hand-held cylindrical pressure vessel containing an agent which can be discharged to extinguish a fire.
In the United States, fire extinguishers in all buildings (except individual residences) are required to be serviced and inspected by a fire protection service company at least annually.
Exit & Emergency
An emergency light is a battery-backed lighting device that switches on automatically when a building experiences a power outage. Emergency lights are standard in new commercial and high occupancy residential buildings, such as college dormitories. Most building codes require that they be installed in older buildings as well.
Fire Suppression Systems
Fire suppression systems are used to extinguish or prevent the spread of fire in a building or a vehicle. Suppression systems use a combination of dry chemicals and/or wet agents to suppress equipment fires. Suppression systems have become a necessity to many industries as they help control damage and loss to equipment. Common means of detection are through head sensors, wiring, or manual detection (depending on system selection).
We service all industries.

Fire Alarms
A fire alarm system has a number of devices working together to detect and warn people through visual and audio appliances when smoke, fire, carbon monoxide or other emergencies are present. These alarms may be activated automatically from smoke detectors or may also be activated via manual fire alarm activation devices such as manual call points or pull stations.
Fire Sprinkler Systems
A fire sprinkler or sprinkler head is the component of a fire sprinkler system that discharges water when the effects of a fire have been detected, such as when a predetermined temperature has been exceeded. Fire sprinklers are extensively used world wide, with over 40 million sprinkler head fitted each year. In buildings protected by fire sprinklers, over 99% of fire were controlled by sprinklers alone.

Backflow Testing
Backflow is a term in plumbing for an unwanted flow of water in the reverse direction. It can be a serious health risk for the contamination of potable water with foul water. In the most obvious case, a fire sprinkler system and its water supply must be isolated. For this reason, building codes mandate a series of measures and backflow prevention devices to prevent “back-flow”.
